Discussion Cards That Challenge Your Beliefs About Anger

The All About Anger Discussion Cards present some of the commonly-held beliefs on anger. The cards offer the opportunity for participants to understand the rationale underlying WHY they hold a specific belief, whether it is a reasonable belief and whether the belief is in their best interest.

The cards can be used with individual participants as a diagnostic tool, i.e. the counselor or instructor can investigate why the participant feels they need to behave a certain way. This will help the counselor/ instructor to challenge an unreasonable belief, and thus help to change the associated behavior.

The cards can also be used in small or class groups to promote discussion and enable the participants to challenge their OWN unreasonable beliefs which cause them to behave a certain way. Or they can be used with larger or class groups to start a discussion about anger.
